Amid the many rumours on Manchester United’s chase for a new manager, with most claims obviously coming from the European press, we now get to see a story from Brazil about that.

Today, website UOL reports that besides the names of Erik Ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino, the Red Devils now have one more name in their list. That’s Carlo Ancelotti.

It’s said Manchester United ‘started considering’ the arrival of the Real Madrid boss ‘in the past few days’. The club reportedly made a first approach and see this option ‘with good eyes’.

UOL, however, points out it won’t be easy to take the coach from Real Madrid, as he’s currently ‘on a high’ at the La Liga side and is ‘happy’ at the club.

With so many stories from Europe claiming Manchester United are close on taking Erik ten Hag from Ajax, it’s obviously a little strange to see the Brazilian media coming up with a new name now.

Still, UOL wouldn’t just throw a new rumour out for nothing, so this is a story that deserves, at least, a little attention.
