As Julian Alvarez prepares to complete his move to Manchester City, many people in Argentina are excited about what he can show in Europe.

The River Plate striker, who continues doing well for his club, also this week scored his first goal for Argentina, which only increased the hype around him.

So among the many comments on his potential, we now get to see former Manchester City player Pablo Zabaleta speaking about the youngster as well.

Speaking to TNT Sports, the ex-fullback talked about what Alvarez can do in the Premier League, claiming he should be ready to prove himself as soon as he gets there.

“If Pep counts on him next season he’ll give him importance,” Zabaleta told TNT Sports.

“Julian has the conditions to be a striker for City. We have to see how Guardiola uses him.”
