On Wednesday, The Guardian had a story saying Liverpool would be interested in the Porto youngster Diogo Leite.
The English outlet claimed the Reds are leading the race for the 19-year-old, while his partner, Diogo Queirós, also 19, is being followed by Bournemouth.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola went after the story, and found out that Liverpool are actually chasing both players.
They claim that Jurgen Klopp’s side is interested in finding a double deal with Porto, and would be ready to offer €20m for them.
A Bola expects a little auction for these youngsters.
Because they’ve confirmed that Bournemouth are interested in Queirós, while Arsenal, as reported by The Guardian as well, are following Leite.
The newspaper doesn’t talk about Porto’s efforts to hold the players, so it sounds like they would be fine selling them if good bids arrive.
However, the competition from the Premier League makes it sound unlikely that €20m would be enough for the two of them.
