Liverpool are among the clubs showing interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.

On August 31st, Sport1 explained the Reds have had repeat contact with both his father, Mark, and his agent, Mark Bennett.

Earlier this week, Marca stated Liverpool are a great rival to Real Madrid to sign the 19-year-old next summer.

The Merseyside club’s interest in the England international is discussed in Saturday’s AS. Having joined the La Liga winners in the transfer chase, it’s said that Jürgen Klopp’s side have ‘taken decisive steps to get closer’ to the midfielder.

Reports in the UK have said Dortmund are working to renew Bellingham’s deal and include a €150m release clause. AS have relayed this and add Los Blancos have let his entourage know that he should not sign a new deal at the Signal Iduan Park, in order to arrive at the Bernabéu.

The newspaper states Carlo Ancelotti’s side will not invest in excess of €100m to sign the player, who is viewed as an ideal replacement for Luka Modrić at the club.

Real Madrid are expected to face competition from Liverpool to sign the ex-Birmingham City man.
