Olympiacos left-back Kostas Tsimikas is a transfer target for Leicester City, according to Greek newspaper Sportday, as covered by Sdna.
The Greek international has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer, with the likes of Nice, Napoli and Inter Milan all claimed to be interested in his services.
According to Sportday, ‘there may be developments in the coming weeks’ with regards to Tsimikas, with Leicester City said to be looking to replace Ben Chilwell.
Tsimikas has been an ever-present for Pedro Martins’ side this season, helping them to win the Greek Superleague. He will also be key when the Greek side face Wolves in the last 16 of the Europa League in August.
He’s made 44 appearances for Erythrolefki this season in all competitions, providing seven assists.
The 24 year old’s contract at Olympiacos will expire at the end of June 2022.
