Barcelona’s moves for the signing of Leeds United’s Raphinha continue to be reported by the Brazilian media today.
It’s now Goal Brasil who writes that the Camp Nou side have reached a financial agreement with the player, who’s ready to sign a five-year contract with them. It’s said the deal was handled by agent Deco, and the 25-year-old is set to earn twice what he currently does at Elland Road.
Leeds, however, haven’t opened negotiations for the sale yet. It’s said the club are waiting for the end of the Premier League so they can engage in talks for the transfer.
Goal Brasil claims the negotiation should have an outcome ‘in the coming days’ pointing out that in case of relegation, there’s a release clause for Raphinha to leave for €25m.
That has previously been disputed.
Earlier today, it was UOL who claimed the Catalan side have placed an offer of €55m plus bonuses to land the winger, with Leeds putting the talks on hold until the end of the season.
They also reported the personal agreement between player and club, which is now backed up.
