According to Sdna.Gr, Leeds United defender Vurnon Anita is in the process of negotiating his compensation with the Championship club as he looks to exit Elland road this summer.

After spending last season on loan at Eredivisie club Williem II, the 30 year old is expected to leave Leeds United in this transfer window and Sdna report his agent Mino Raiola is looking to find his client a new club.

The Greek website says Anita has had other offers from his home country and is currently considering these proposals despite the interest from Panathinaikos.

Sdna haven’t reported on any specific Dutch clubs but they say the player is looking to earn €400K per season and wants to join a side which can meet his demands.

Whether Panathinaikos can pay this is questionable, but recent reports suggested they are interested in signing the player, given it’s likely he will leave Leeds United on a free transfer this summer.

Anita still has one year left on his contract with the Championship side.
