As Leeds United continue to be linked to Rangers winger Ryan Kent, we today get to see an update from the Italian media on this chase.

TuttoMercatoWeb features a story claiming that with the 26-year-old’s free departure from the Scottish side, he’s set to become an ‘opportunity’ for many clubs in the summer.

It’s claimed that Fenerbahce have already presented an offer to Kent’s representatives, and other clubs such as Leeds, Udinese and Bologna are ‘on his trail’ as well.

The report doesn’t make it clear whether any of those sides have an advantage in the battle yet.

Kent is set to leave Rangers after five years at the club. He first joined them in 2018 on a loan move from Liverpool, and the transfer was made permanent for €7.2m an year later.

During his time in Glasgow, the winger has 33 goals and 57 assists in 218 appearances, having won the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish Cup one time each.

With Leeds struggling to stay in the Premier League, perhaps he’ll wait a little longer to choose where to play next.
