Following the many claims we’ve been seeing regarding Raphinha’s release clause, an interesting update comes from Italy regarding his situation at the Elland Road.

A report from Gianluigi Longari says the Brazilian’s camp actually has an ‘excellent relationship’ with the Whites, and that will make things calmer during the transfer window.

That means the two parties ‘will agree on an exit figure without any tension’ in case of a move this summer, regardless of any potential clauses involved.

The journalist points out that Barcelona are indeed leading the race to sign Raphinha, while Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in him.

It’s been a rollercoaster of reports regarding Raphinha’s release clause at Leeds, as it had been many times claimed that the player could leave the club for €75m this summer.

The speculation came to an end with club director Victor Orta saying there’s no such agreement in his deal. If Orta and Deco work on an exit together then there shouldn’t be much chance for a bitter situation to develop, but these situations can always change.
