Andrea Radrizzani’s ‘ambitious’ Leeds United have another transfer plan, according to FC Inter News.

After the Championship club played a preseason friendly in Italy at the weekend there’s been a string of claims of interest from Leeds in players in the country.

The latest man to be plucked out is Facundo Colidio.

A 19 year old attacker, Colidio moved to Inter Milan in 2017 from Boca Juniors, and is yet to make a breakthrough with the Serie A club. Despite that, Marcelo Bielsa is said to be a ‘great admirer’ of the youngster, which would suggest he knows about him from Colidio’s time with Boca’s youth system.

Bielsa’s presence at Elland Road is described as a ‘magnetic charm’ for the player, and therefore an advantage for Leeds United. Newcastle United are also thought to be keen, and they’d use the lure of the Premier League as a temptation.

Inter value their player at €8-10m, and the interested clubs will have ‘direct contacts’ today.

There’s no indication whether Colidio has an EU passport, which would be very useful given work permit requirements.
