Salernitana star Boulaye Dia is in the sights of Leeds United, Everton, West Ham United and Leicester City.

The Senegal international joined the Serie A side on loan from Villarreal in the summer and the former retain an option to buy him.

He has managed six goals and two assists from 14 league matches and also scored in his country’s 3-1 win over Qatar last Friday.

On November 2nd, Gazzetta dello Sport stated Leeds United are tussling with West Ham for the 26-year-old’s signature. These two sides are now joined by Everton and Leicester in the transfer chase.

That’s according to Tutto Salernitana, who state the Toffees and Brendan Rodgers’s side, along with the Whites and the London club, ‘express interest’ in signing the striker.

The Italian club can make the player’s loan permanent by paying €12m to Villarreal and this is something they plan to exercise .

Salernitana chief Danilo Iervolino would ‘try to resist’ requests for the Senegal player. At the same time, he is aware it won’t be an easy task, especially if a club which plays in Europe comes forward to sign him.

Tutto Salernitana only explain Leeds, Everton, West Ham and Leicester have expressed interest in Dia. They don’t mention who among these four English clubs are ahead in the race and or the fee needed to sign him.
