Greek website Sdna.GR claim PAOK are exploring the possibility of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Leo Bonatini.
PAOK recent sold their first choice striker Aleksandar Prijovic to Al Ittihad and the Wolves player has emerged as an option for the Greek club.
The Brazilian striker hasn’t featured much for Wolves this season with Nuno Espirito Santo preferring Raul Jimenez ahead of him. Bonatini was a key player in Wolves’ promotion to the top flight but since the Mexico international was brought in last summer his role has changed at the club.
Bonatini has made just 9 appearances for Wolves in this campaign, scoring one goal. Due to his situation with the Premier League club the 24 year old could be tempted to play in Greece and become part of PAOK’s title challenge.
PAOK are the current leaders in the Greek league and are 8 points ahead of 2nd place Olympiacos after 14 games.
Bonatini is under contract at Wolves until June 2022.
