‘Klopp-Physio’, who left Liverpool to go it alone, flies out to help Coutinho

Philippe Coutinho moved to Bayern Munich in the summer window on a loan deal which can lead to a permanent transfer. His move from Liverpool to Barcelona simply hadn’t worked out and it was best for everyone that a solution was found.

Life in Germany is treating the footballer better and he’s shown signs of getting back to the best of his Liverpool form. That’s something which Coutinho is absolutely determined to do, and Bild say they have another example of it.

Following a long trip away with Brazil, the 27 year old called in the help of Rubén Pons.

It’s explained Pons had been working with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool before leaving in 2018 to go it alone. He travelled to the 2018 World Cup in Russia to help Mohamed Salah be as close to his best as possible.

Pons and Coutinho will have worked together at Liverpool and it seems, just like he did with Salah, the physiotherapist left a good impression.
