Gestifute and Jorge Mendes are involved in more transfers than we can think of. And Spanish outlet Plaza Deportiva brings a story which shows a very good example of it today.

With Atletico Madrid wishing to sign Alvaro Morata from Chelsea, they needed to offload some of their players so they would be fine with the Financial Fair Play.

So according to Plaza Deportiva, Mendes started making the moves by offering Atletico’s Gelson Martins to his partner Peter Lim, who owns Valencia.

Meanwhile, he tried helping Valencia with two other deals. First, by sending Michy Batshuayi elsewhere… He tried to make the player sign for Monaco.

And with one of Valencia’s strikers leaving, Mendes also helped them to find a replacement. That would be Javier Hernandez from West Ham United.

The agent made efforts to help the deal happen.

Long story short, the only transfer which succeeded was Alvaro Morata’s to Atletico Madrid. Gelson Martins ended up joining Monaco, who tried and failed to sign Bathusayi from Chelsea.

Batshuayi made a late move to Crystal Palace, and Javier Hernandez was the only who didn’t change clubs, and ended up staying in London.
