According to claims in the Italian media, Inter Milan attacker Joao Mario will give West Ham United an answer within the next 48 hours on whether he will join them in this window.
The Portugal international has been linked with a move to West Ham in the past week, following talks between the Premier League side and Inter Milan.
Tuttosport have reported, via TMW, Mario will soon make a decision on his future, with West Ham hoping to bring in the Inter Milan star before next week’s deadline.
It’s also been claimed the Serie A side are interested in West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang, in a possible exchange with Mario. Obiang previously played in Italy with Sampdoria.
Yesterday we covered reports from Italy that West Ham have made a breakthrough during talks with Inter Milan, and a deal could now be possible.
The two clubs are expected to resume discussions today, which could be vital on whether Mario arrives in England.
