AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker, simply known as Alisson, has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Liverpool in recent times.
The Brazil international’s form has seen him attract interest from this season’s two Champions League finalists. Earlier during an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Alisson revealed he was happy the rumoured interest from Real and Liverpool.
French publication RMC Sport reported the Spanish capital club have already held several meetings with the player’s entourage to. Alisson’s contract at Roma expires in 2021 and he is valued around €70 million and Real are expected to make an official “offer without further delay”.
Roma’s clash against Juventus ended in a goalless draw and Alisson kept yet another clean sheet this season. The South American stopper, who once again admitted that he is “happy with certain rumours”, has stressed that his future will be discussed later.
“My future? I’m happy with certain rumours, but I’m very focused on my work and what I have to do now,” Alisson told Rai Sport, as related by Tuttomercatoweb.
“I have so many things to do here, I have the last game, the World Cup. If I’ll stay in Rome? We will talk about this later.”
Roma have the second best defensive record in Serie A, having conceded only 28 goals in 37 games. Alisson hailed the Italian capital club’s manager Eusebio Di Francesco for doing a “great defensive job” this season.
“He did a great defensive job with the squad, he’s a coach who really wants to win and that’s important,” he said.
