Chelsea are ‘currently holding talks’ with Julian Nagelsmann about replacing Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.
That’s according to Sky Sports Germany, who say the Blues are ‘in talks’ with the former Bayern Munich boss, who ‘would immediately be available’ to take the reins.
Chelsea are hunting for Potter’s replacements after deciding to sack him over the weekend following the 2-0 loss to Aston Villa.
They’ve naturally been linked with all the big-name managers who are available at this moment in time, including Nagelsmann, who is out of work after Bayern’s surprise decision to sack him at the end of March.
That is something the Blues are seemingly aware of, and they have now contacted the German coach and are ‘in talks’ about a possible deal.
The nature of those talks isn’t mentioned or what stage they are currently at, although given the recency of Potter’s departure it’s likely they aren’t advanced at this point.
They are happening, though, with Chelsea looking determined to move quickly to get their new man in the dugout.
