Leicester City are facing the prospect of losing their quartet of Belgian players this summer if they drop into the Championship.

That’s according to Walfoot, who say Youri Tielemans, Timothy Castagne, Wout Faes and Dennis Praet could be on the move at the end of the season.

The newspaper explains that while it was known that Leicester’s season was always going to be ‘very complicated’ given their quiet summer transfer window, few predicted it would go this badly.

With them now sat 19th in the table and managerless after sacking Brendan Rodgers, there is a distinct possibility they could be relegated and that will lead to plenty of players looking at their futures.

That is certainly the case for Tielemans and Castagne, who have found that this season with Leicester is proving to be ‘one too many’ and now feel that ‘its time for a change of scenery’ for the good of their careers and their future with Belgium.

That is also the case for Wout Faes, who is having a ‘fairly good season’ and wants to be a mainstay under Domenico Tedesco moving forwards. If that is to happen, he cannot ‘bury himself’ in the Championship.

Praet, meanwhile, has continued to be out of the picture after returning to Leicester in the summer but he remains ‘quite young’ at 28-years-old and can still revive his career.

If that is to happen, he seems likely to need a new club to do it at and thus is likely to push for a departure this summer again.
