As reported by the French media on Tuesday, Joe Bryan is leaving Fulham and heading to the south of France.

OGC Nice are the ones who are keen to sign him, needing more options at left-back for Lucien Favre’s squad, while the Craven Cottage side are set to bring in Layvin Kurzawa on loan to improve the squad.

Bryan joined Fulham from Bristol City back in 2018, but has yet to be used by Marco Silva in the Premier League this season.

The arrival of Kurzawa wasn’t going to help his playing time, which is why a move to a new club makes sense, with Nice jumping at the opportunity.

In fact, the deal appears to be very close to completion, as RMC Sport are reporting the player is ‘currently undergoing his medical’ ahed of the move, where he is expected to compete with Melvin Bard for game time.

Bryan’s only appearance for Fulham this season was a 45 minute cameo in the EFL Cup, as he started the 2-0 loss to Crawley Town before being subbed off at half time in favour of Terry Ablade.
