It appears that Justin Kluivert’s transfer to Fulham is in its final stages, although there is a final hurdle to overcome.

This is according to Gianluca Di Marzio, who took to Twitter to explain that the player and the two clubs, being the Craven Cottage side and AS Roma are, ‘waiting on the FA report about the situation’.

It seemed like the Dutchman was headed to Fulham, but the situation ‘stalled in the night due to the work permit’.

How long that will take isn’t made clear, but it’s something everyone needs to get sorted, as the transfer deadline is on Thursday evening.

Fulham picked up their second win of the campaign on Tuesday night as a Lewis Dunk own goal and Aleksandr Mitrovic’s 48th minute strike helped Marco Silva’s side overcome Brighton & Hove Albion in a 2-1 win.

This was the Craven Cottage side’s second win of the campaign, and they currently sit sixth in the league after five games, having scored eight goals and conceded seven.

The arrival of Justin Kluivert is clearly an attempt to improve the attack, as the club try to take some burden off their Serbian star’s shoulders.
