Fulham could have the opportunity to sign Fenerbahçe striker Emmanuel Emenike in the summer following claims the Turkish club will offload the player this summer. The Nigeria international has been linked with Fulham in recent weeks.

Hurriyet have reported Emenike is keen to get a move to England this summer, and the attacker has instructed his agent to find him a club. Fenerbahce want the player to leave the club in the next window, and are even prepared to let him go on a free transfer so that the move is made permanent.

Last month we covered reports Emenike was to travel to England to have a trial with Fulham after previously being linked with the West London side in January.

It was also claimed the Nigerian would hold talks with Fulham with regards to a move in the summer, but this could be dependent on the club getting promotion to the Premier League.

It’s unlikely Emeinke would want to drop down to the Championship, and has even told his agent he wants to play in the Premier League.

Fulham still have a chance grabbing a play-off spot, and signing the player could rest on getting into the top flight.
