Liverpool have set a price for Philippe Coutinho, according to claims from France. Le 10 Sport are exclusively claiming that the Reds have told Paris Saint Germain they want at least €75m for the midfielder.

PSG reportedly made an approach before the Euros, being incredibly cheeky and pushing€25m forward. Liverpool obviously turned it down, and given the French side’s insistence, the Reds have now said they want €50m more.

The price is considered pretty high by PSG, but it would still not put them out of the race. Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is said to have Coutinho as a priority, so the club will not give up so easily.

PSG’s wish to have Coutinho is so big that he’s now replacing Neymar as their main target, according to the website.

In a recent interview, the Barcelona star’s agent Wagner Ribeiro said all the crazy things that the French side offered to have Neymar, so who knows what they are capable of doing to sign Coutinho now.

The Liverpool player is the transfer flavour of the week due to his form. However, if the club continue their improvement under Jurgen Klopp then surely the Brazilian will be kept at Anfield for a while longer yet.
