It’s all come to an annoying end for Charles N’Zogbia regarding his transfer to Nantes.
It was then decided it was best if the player didn’t sign, and now N’Zogbia faces the decision of potentially having to retire.
However, it appears the former Wigan star seems to still be in a upbeat mood when asked by Ouest-France, relayed by Foot-Sur7, if he had actually signed his contract before the medical found his problematic condition.
He said: “Did I sign my contract with Nantes? The only things I signed here were a few shirts. People from Nantes are cool.”
It seems the player is trying to remain positive about his situation, and let’s hope he manages to bounce back on his feet somewhere else, even if it isn’t at the highest level.
During his time in the Premier League, the 30-year-old made 281 appearances, scored 28 goals and picked up 38 assists.
