Sevilla are the latest club to show an interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Rafa Mir following his impressive loan spell in Spain.

That’s according to La Razón, who say they are eyeing the Portuguese forward as a potential replacement for Youssef En-Nesyri.

They explain that Monchi and co are willing to listen to offers for Luuk de Jong this summer while they are not ruling out ‘making a cash deal’ for En-Nesyri, with West Ham and Juventus willing to pay €45m for him.

This has led them to look at replacements, and one man they are ‘looking at’ is Mir, once he returns to Wolves.

He has 15 goals in 21 games for Huesca this season, and although they have an option on him, ‘everything seems to indicate’ that he will return to Wolves.

Sevilla ‘would like to take advantage’ of that fact, although they face competition from Valencia, who, despite not having the money, have players that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are keen on.

That’s something we’ve seen mentioned in the last few weeks, and La Razón have the same two names in their reports, Goncalo Guedes and Kang-in Lee.

The suggestion is that could give them something of an advantage, and it doesn’t even mention the influence of Jorge Mendes, who has deep ties at both club.

Still, Sevilla can be added to the list of growing suitors for Mir, who has earned plenty of admiration after an impressive season on loan in Spain.
