Here’s some good news for Premier League sides who are interested in signing Thomas Lemar from Atletico Madrid.

Spanish outlet AS reports today that the player has rejected a move to Porto, and he didn’t even listen to an offer from the Portuguese side.

They write that Lemar’s wish is actually to move to England, where Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be two clubs who’ve been following him.

According to AS, Lemar believes he has a lot of potential to show, and doesn’t want to end up in the Portuguese league at the age of 24.

Despite naming Everton and Wolves as the ‘latest’ clubs to become interested in his signing, there’s no information on any moves made by the Premier League sides.

It’s claimed that Atletico Madrid will demand at least €25m, and as Diego Simeone is tired of waiting for Lemar to show his potential at the club, they’re really likely to let him go in this transfer window.
