Sabah claim Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin remains a target for Fenerbahce and the Turkish club are working hard for a player that tops their wanted list.

Earlier in this transfer window we covered reports from Turkey with regards to Fenerbahce’s interest in the Frenchman and Sabah say they are looking to loan the player, with an option to buy.

After the arrival of Jean Philippe Gbamin and Fabian Delph this summer, Schneiderlin reportedly wants to leave Goodison Park to get regular first team football elsewhere. The Turkish newspaper also claims Fener manager Ersun Yanal is keen to sign the player.

The Yellow Canaries are likely to wait until the end of the Turkish transfer window to get a deal done for the Everton player as they believe they will have an advantage once the English deadline arrives.

Earlier reports claimed Everton are open to loaning him for free if Fenerbahce cover Schneiderlin’s wages, but Sabah now claim the Premier League side are looking to get a loan fee for the 29 year old .
