Everton midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin is expected at Trabzonspor tomorrow afternoon to finalise a loan move to the club.

That’s according to A Spor, who say the Turkish side have struck a deal with the Toffees on a season-long loan deal.

We covered a report from Turkey yesterday that stated Gbamin was a target for Trabzonspor and negotiations with Everton were going well.

Talks between the two clubs were progressing, with confidence that the deal would be finalised in ‘a short time’.

It seems they are moving at a rapid pace, with A Spor now reporting that Trabzonspor have added Gbamin to their squad.

In fact, according to their information he is set to arrive in Turkey tomorrow at 16:50, presumably ahead of a medical and signing of contracts.

Trabzonspor will not pay a loan fee for the midfielder, but there is no mention of his wages or a potential purchase clause such as the one Besiktas have negotiated for Dele Alli.

We’re sure that information will come out at some point but for the time being it appears Gbamin is set to follow his teammate to Turkey, with the exit door at Everton spinning rapidly.
