Turkish newspaper Aksam report Besiktas are targeting former Spartak Moscow defender Serdar Tasci as they prepare for life without Domagoj Vida.
Vida could leave the Turkish giants in this transfer window and has been repeatedly linked with a move to Everton, with Liverpool brought into the story on Monday.
Aksam claim the Turkish club are in talks with Tasci’s representatives after the 31 year old’s contract with Spartak Moscow expired.
Again Everton have been linked with a move for Vida by Aksam, which comes after claims yesterday Everton have offered €15m for Vida.
It was also reported Liverpool are in the race to sign the Croatia international and like Everton they’re said to have tabled a bid of €15m to sign the central defender.
With Vida impressing at the World Cup this summer it’s conceivable both Everton and Liverpool would be interested in the player, but some of the figures being reported seem inflated.
Last week it was reported Everton have offered €10m plus Davy Klaassen which is hard to believe given they paid over £23m for the Dutchman last summer.
