Gerard Deulofeu had to wait until November to score his first goal for Watford this season and the forward now has four goals and three assists in the league.
The former Everton man spent a few months on loan at AC Milan in 2017 and since then, there have been reports of the Serie A side’s interest in signing him.
There were claims of Milan’s interest in the last window as well, but his agent Albert Botines revealed in November the Hornets had no plans to allow the 25-yer-old to leave the club.
Even though Deulofeu has started to score and assist in the last two months, there have been no concrete reports linking him with a move to Milan.
“In January, I don’t think it’s possible because he is engaged in the relegation fight with Watford and is focused on the team,” Deulofeu’s agent said.
“We will see what will happen in the summer market, but to date there have been no contacts with the Milan managers for a return to AC Milan.
“He has great respect for AC Milan and has a beautiful memory. When he was at AC Milan, he was really happy and it was a good experience [for him].”
