Watford midfielder Ken Sema has spoken to the Swedish media about his time in England and how he’s settled into his new environment

The Sweden international signed for the Premier League side last summer from OFK.

Speaking to Fotboll Direkt, Sema was quizzed about having to ditch the nice guy image he had whilst playing for OFK: “Depends what you mean by being an pig? But it is clear that I had to show that I am not too nice since I came here. You must be prepared to stand up. I’m not always so kind.”

The Swede impressed for OFK in last season’s Europa League, when Graham Potter’s side reached the knock-out stages of the competition before being eliminated by Arsenal.

His performances in the competition earned him a move to Watford and after a slow start with the English club he’s become more prominent as the season has gone by.

This has also resulted in a recall to the Swedish national team after missing out on last summer’s World Cup.

Sema has made 18 appearances for the Hornets in this campaign, scoring one goal. However, the 25 year old has been a unused substitute in the last two Premier League games.

Perhaps he needs to work a little harder on not being nice.
