Saturday’s edition of Marca carries a little Gareth Bale and Manchester United update.

For the Welshman ‘the decision’ on his future must come soon.

After coming on in the Champions League final against Liverpool and stealing the show, after the match Bale voiced doubts over his future. Tired of not being one of Real Madrid’s most important players, it was clear the former Tottenham man was ready to question his place at the club.

Then Cristiano Ronaldo decided he’d get out first and moved to Juventus, and that transfer will have made a Bale stay likelier, but Madrid want to know the player’s plans for sure.

Marca say Bale is now back at the Spanish club in body and they need to make sure he’s there in mind too. Rid of ‘the shadow of Cristiano’, he hasn’t yet said what he wants to do.

It’s stated Jose Mourinho wants him at Old Trafford and Manchester United ‘already have the offer ready’, waiting to pounce if given the opportunity.

But with Ronaldo gone and Madrid not on the verge of bringing a Galactico in, an exit would surely be a surprise at this stage.
