Arsenal are named today as one of the potential destinations for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Jesper Lindstrøm.

That’s reported by Sky Germany, who features a story about the departures that could happen at the Bundesliga side this summer.

Their piece claims Frankfurt are actually ‘ready’ to let the 23-year-old move this summer, and that’s where Arsenal get a mention.

It’s claimed that the Gunners are one of the clubs with whom ‘contact has already been made’.

Regarding the price to take Lindstrøm out of the German club, Sky Sport claims a ‘realistic’ price for his transfer would be of between €35-40m.

Arsenal just need to be aware about the competition from the Premier League for his signing, because Liverpool are also said to be in for the midfielder.

At this stage of the season, it’s normal for us to see repeated links between players and clubs, but this seems to be a fresh rumour coming from the German media.

Lindstrøm has nine goals and four assists for Frankfurt this season, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €28m.
