There’s no denying that, at this point in the Nikola Vlasic to Torino saga, most clubs would have given up trying to negotiate with West Ham United.

Fortunately for the Croatian, Ivan Juric is a big fan of him and that’s why, according to Corriere Torino, the Serie A side aren’t ready to throw in the towel.

In fact, the local newspaper make it clear the Italians will negotiate to the ‘bitter end’ to try and get something sorted with West Ham.

The initial loan, sorted out last summer, included a €15m option to buy, but Torino have been trying to negotiate that down to a fee they feel comfortable with.

Those efforts have been unsuccessful to date, but the general feeling when it comes to a happy ending in this affair is a positive one.

Corriere Torino have a lengthy article on the subject, and make it clear to their readers the Italian club are ‘continuing to negotiate’ with West Ham.

There is a ‘certain confidence’ it will eventually get done, especially as they have the player on their side, who enjoyed himself thoroughly there last season and knows he will get a lot more football in Turin than in London.
