With Bayern Munich struggling to reach an agreement with Tottenham over the transfer of Harry Kane, Paris Saint-Germain continue to lurk in the shadows.

The Ligue 1 side have presented themselves as an alternative to their Bavarian counterparts for the England international, who still prefers a move to Bundesliga if possible.

Still, Le Parisien in France are adamant that Paris Saint-Germain are still after the Tottenham star, and this despite Luis Campos wanting to turn his attention to Gonçalo Ramos.

While they know it would be ‘complex’ to sign Kane, those in charge of the club ‘dream’ of signing the Spurs forward this summer, as he ticks a lot of boxes they are looking for.

They know they are currently behind Bayern Munich, but it’s pointed out that they will not ‘give up and have let it be known they will do everything possible’ to bring the Tottenham striker to the French capital.

Whether they achieve it remains to be seen and entirely depends on whether the Bundesliga giants can reach an agreement with Daniel Levy.

It does feel, at this point, that if Bayern pull out of the race, then Paris Saint-Germain will swoop in to try and throw money at both Tottenham and Kane to get a deal over the line.
