Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants to leave Manchester United in the summer window, a year after returning to Old Trafford in 2021.

The forward has been linked with a move to top clubs in England and across Europe, including Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. So far, none of these sides have made progress to sign him.

A move to Middle East could be an option for the Manchester United star this summer.

That’s according to TVI and CNN Portugal, who explain an unnamed Saudi Arabian side have offered the 37-year-old a lucrative deal to arrive in their country.

It’s said the club from Saudi Arabia ‘try to convince’ the Portugal international by making a proposal that will include a salary of ‘€250m divided over two seasons’, meaning €125m per year.

Ronaldo has less than year left on his contract at Manchester United. In order to convince the Red Devils, the Middle East club would offer €30m to Erik ten Hag’s side. They are also ready to give €20m as commission to the attacker’s agent, Jorge Mendes.

It’s not made clear whether Ronaldo or Manchester United are ready to accept the offer from Saudi Arabia.
