A couple of days ago, the British media published a story saying Atletico Madrid are one of the clubs interested in taking Richarlison from Everton.

Without major details, it had just been claimed that the La Liga side have been following the Toffees’ striker and could join the heavy competition there is for him.

Now outlet AS comes up with an article this Monday to cover this news, and brings a couple more details to back up the information.

They write it’s no secret the club’s board are already looking for signings for the next season, and Richarlison is very well seen ‘for his quality and youth’.

It’s claimed that Atletico Madrid have already spoken to the striker’s entourage. However, the Colchoneros won’t do ‘mad things’ to win the auction for him.

With Everton spending €40m to sign Richarlison from Watford last summer, we wonder if Atletico would be able to afford the Toffees’ demands in case things get serious.
