As Leeds United loanee Diego Llorente impresses in his loan spell at AS Roma, it seems a new move could be on the way for him.

Just as recently reported by the Italian and French media, Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be interested in getting him signed in the January window.

And according to a fresh report from Il Romanista, the French club are still ‘seriously intent’ to buy him, as they have ‘already started negotiations’ with Roma for the transfer.

What is interesting in this story is that Leeds don’t even get a mention, as if the Giallorossi were the only team responsible for this sale.

So it very much sounds like Roma would trigger the buying option they have over Lloriente, which is reportedly to be of around €5m, and then sell him to PSG for a nice profit.

The report mentions the ‘tempting money’ from the Ligue 1 side for this transfer, as Roma would need to make a quick decision regarding that sale.

Now in case the whole operation really takes place and PSG buy him for much more than €5m, Leeds may regret the deal they made last summer.
