This week, claims from France claimed Paris Saint Germain had a new bid for Bernardo Silva turned down by Manchester City.

Le10Sport wrote that the Ligue 1 side put €80m on the table, and with Pep Guardiola continuing to count on the midfielder, that was promptly rejected.

Now as L’Equipe shares an update on the situation, they come up to say that PSG ‘still dream’ of signing the Portuguese international this summer.

Club manager Christophe Galtier recently made public his wish of adding a new player to their midfield, and the outlet writes it’s ‘no secret’ that club director Luis Campos ‘is in love’ with the Manchester City player.

The talks with Silva have been going since the start of the summer, when the player expressed his desire for a new challenge. And with Barcelona failing to sign him, PSG ‘decided to relaunch’ talks in recent days.

L’Equipe claims the operation remains complex, especially because of Financial Fair Play and the issue of fitting a new star in the team. Still, they hope they can get it done before the end of the window.
