Fotomac claim Trabzonspor are closing in on Everton striker Oumar Niasse ahead of the Turkish transfer deadline.

This summer Karadeniz Firtinasi lost Hugo Rodallega to Denizlispor but they’ve loaned Crystal Palace’s Alexander Sorloth on a two year deal. However, they are still in the market for another forward as they will be competing on three fronts this season.

This summer the Turkish club have been strongly linked with a move for former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge but after he rejected them, they are now interested in signing the Everton player.

Accordign to Fotomac, the Senegalese forward has welcomed Trabzonspor’s interest and has reportedly told Marco Silva he wants to leave the Premier League club in order get regular first-team football.

It’s reported there are now only ‘minor details’ to deal with over the potential transfer and Trabzonspor are hoping they will be able to confirm his arrival in the coming days.

The former Akhisarspor player spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City and has a year left on his current contract with Everton.
