AC Milan are ready to let Chelsea loanee Tiemoué Bakayoko ‘leave’ the club, with his move seen as a ‘bad market operation’.

That’s according to Calciomercato.it, who say ‘there is no room’ for the French midfielder in Stefano Pioli’s squad.

Bakayoko moved to Milan for a second loan spell in August 2021, signing a two-year deal in Italy after a previous loan between 2018-19.

That first spell was a big success but this one has not proven to be the same, with the midfielder featuring little last season and ‘failing to show the best version of himself’.

He has featured ‘without ever convincing’ and has failed to fit into Pioli’s tactical plans, so much so that the club tried to get rid of him over the summer and send him back to Chelsea.

That never happened and he’s fallen further down the pecking order this season, failing to pick up a single minute of playing time.

CM.it report that ‘it seems clear’ that his adventure in Milan can ‘already be considered over’ and a farewell from the club is ‘only a matter of time’.

His current deal expires in the summer but there is hope that he will pack his bags and head somewhere else this month and Milan are ‘ready’ to facilitate that.

The offers ‘are not lacking’ and in the last few days Adana Demirspor and Galatasaray have come forward to propose a potential move to Turkey.

‘No official offers’ have been made yet by either side or arrived from elsewhere as yet, but Milan are hopeful that will change, and he can be sent back to Chelsea before being pushed out elsewhere by the end of the winter window.
