The Italian media has been a lot more confident that Juventus can sign Jorginho from Chelsea this summer.

The reason for it is that the midfielder doesn’t seem to be one of Frank Lampard’s main choices, and the Old Lady consider that a re-encounter with Maurizio Sarri could convince the player.

Newspaper Tuttosport brings one more story about this mission today, claiming that Juventus’ pursuit for Jorginho is ‘advanced’ now, with club director Fabio Paratici trying to please the Italian manager.

It’s said the 28-year-old is the ‘hottest’ name in Juve’s wish list, especially because he’s one of the ‘students’ the Maurizio Sarri had in the past.

Tuttosport points out that since the Coronavirus break, Jorginho has been left out of Frank Lampard’s starting team for most of the time, and was only called back when the squad started struggling with injuries.

They claim that in case these ‘signs’ are confirmed in the summer, then it’s a lot more likely the clubs find a deal for the Italy international.
