Juventus are reportedly preparing themselves in case Manchester City are successful in landing Alex Sandro next summer.

As reported in Brazil a few weeks ago, Pep Guardiola’s side would be keen on taking the fullback, with the intention to pay up to €50m for him.

And in response to that, according to Goal, the Old Lady have picked Roma’s Emerson Palmieri as a target to replace the player. The first contacts have already been made.

Juventus would be prepared to spend €25m on the Brazilian, who recently got his Italian citizenship and now plans to play for the Italian national team.

Goal claims Manchester City’s Txiki Begiristain was in Turin on Tuesday night, and as Juve played Monaco for the Champions League semifinals, the representative was keeping an eye on Alex Sandro.

Palmieri, on the other hand, had been linked to Chelsea earlier this year. His agent, despite saying there was nothing concrete, even revealed there were ‘middlemen’ contacts between the clubs.
