Moise Kean arrived at Everton from Juventus in the summer of 2019 and went on to make 29 league appearances, which included only six starts.

The striker’s failure to impress at Goodison Park saw the Toffees allow him to go out on loan to PSG in the last window.

Kean has been shining for the Ligue 1 winners this season and has managed seven goals and an assist in 12 appearances in all competitions.

According to Calciomercato.it, Juve wanted to bring the Italy international back to the club in the summer.

After taking Álvaro Morata on loan from Atlético Madrid, Andrea Pirlo wanted the Turin club to sign another striker as a back-up for the Spaniard.

Morata is suspended for the two matches and in his absence, the Juve manager had to use Paulo Dybala as a false No.9 against Torino. This is not the Argentine’s preferred position. Cristiano Ronaldo also suffered in the ex-Chelsea striker’s absence.

It’s claimed Juve chief Fabio Paratici and other leaders of the club ‘long chased’ the Everton player before he agreed to join PSG on a temporary deal.

The failure to sign Kean is a ‘regret’ for Paratici.
