Italian website Calcio Mercato has a short and funny story about the Watford striker Richarlison tonight.
At the same time they report that AC Milan are still interested in the player, they also rule out the move.
The reason for that is that even though the Serie A side have the Brazilian as a target, they know that his good season will also attract the Premier League clubs.
And since Milan currently can’t financially compete with English sides, then it would be impossible to get into an auction for the 20-year-old.
Richarlison’s start at Watford had been pretty impressive, and that’s why it only took six months for him to be linked to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.
But things haven’t been so good since the departure of manager Marco Silva, with the player even showing a bit of discontent with the way the new staff have been managing the team.
Back in January, the Brazilian press had already reported that Silva’s sacking was going to make the striker’s summer departure more likely.
