Paulo Dybala spent much of the past week being pushed towards Manchester United.

Juventus decided they quite liked the idea of signing Romelu Lukaku from the Old Trafford club, and were therefore prepared to send Dybala the other way.

However, the money being asked by the player’s agent, and the perception the Juve player wasn’t overly keen, served to kill Manchester United’s interest.

Tottenham were involved in some of the stories, and now they’ve very much been pulled back into things.

Sky Italia (via TMW) report that Spurs have made a €70m offer to Juventus, and the Turin club have given their approval to that amount.

Now Tottenham would have to convince Dybala it’s the right club for him, and also come to an agreement on personal terms with the Argentina international.

They’re likely to face similar agent issues to what Manchester United walked away from, unless less will be asked as commission this time.
