No matter where you look in Italy, Milan keep popping up as they try and work out who they want to sell, bring in and keep at San Siro for next season.
With Fikayo Tomori on his way and Brahim Díaz set for a stay, the next loanee who could remain at the club is Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot.
We won’t bore you with how he did last season, since we’ve done that numerous times already, but the bottom line is that Federico Massara and Paolo Maldini are of the mindset of keeping him if they can.
Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t really see a future for him at Manchester United, the best option would be for him to find a new club, either on a temporary basis or a permanent one, and Milan News reckon there’s a decent chance something could happen.
They state the Milan pair of chiefs ‘have every intention of negotiating’ with the Red Devils regarding Dalot’s future, and while the Old Trafford side ‘are asking for €20m’, the Serie A side ‘don’t exclude being able to renew the loan’.
Either solution ‘could be the right one’, but they have yet to decide which avenue they want to go down.
One thing is certain, however, and that’s that if Milan get the opportunity to lower the fee, ‘they will do it’.
