Nottingham Forest are keen on signing Fenerbahçe’s Ryan Kent in January, according to a report from Turkey.
The winger joined the Yellow Canaries in the last window and has so far struggled to have a prominent role at the Istanbul club. He’s clocked in 559 minutes from 14 games, managing a goal and two assists in the process.
Haber 7 now state Nottingham Forest want to bring the Englishman back to the country in the winter market.
Steve Cooper’s side have taken the step to sign the 27-year-old and it’s claimed they’ve made an ‘official offer’ to the Turkish club.
Forest want to take him on a loan deal and the outlet adds they are not aware whether or not that includes an option/obligation to buy.
It’s said the Premier League side are expecting a response from Fenerbahçe ‘as soon as possible’. As it stands, the latter haven’t yet given a definitive answer but have evaluated the proposal tabled by Nottingham Forest for the player.
Kent, who is a product of Liverpool’s academy, spent the majority of his playing career in the UK. He was at Rangers for four years before joining Fenerbahçe in the summer.
