Italian newspaper Tuttosport today highlights Torino’s interest in Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet.

It’s claimed that Marco Giampaolo, who had been his coach at Sampdoria, would like to have the player in Turin as well.

The main argument for Torino to sign Praet is that the 26-year-old hasn’t been having a lot of playing time at Leicester City this season.

The midfielder had more appearances coming from the bench than starting, and that’s why it’s assumed that convincing him over an Italy return wouldn’t be out of the question.

Leicester City paid nearly €20m to buy Praet a year ago. And since Torino would like to sign him on a loan deal with an option to buy, that makes the transfer very hard to achieve.

Tuttosport labels the chase for Praet as a ‘dream’ for Torino now, and this scenario would only change in case the Foxes show a real wish to let the player go in this transfer window.
