Fotomac report Fenerbahce are planning to part ways with Mauricio Isla and that they are looking to replace him with Newcastle United defender Javi Manquillo.
In recent weeks Manquillo has been linked with a move to the Turkish side.
The Turkish newspaper today say it’s unlikely Newcastle United will renew the Spanish right-back’s contract, so he will be available on a free transfer this summer.
Isla is reportedly drawing attention from Italian clubs and Boca Juniors, with reports the Turkish club aren’t planning to extend his contract, which will expire at the end of the season.
Manquillo has made 15 appearances in all competitions for Steve Bruce’s side this season but it’s likely that he won’t be a part of his plans for the next campaign.With his contract expiring, this makes him an ideal candidate for Fenerbahce as the Super Lig side are looking to sign players on free transfers given their poor financial situation.
