Crystal Palace promoted Junior Dixon to their U18 squad in the summer of 2021.

The striker went on to make 13 appearances in the U18 Premier League last term, where he managed a goal from 164 minutes of action.

Dixon’s situation has improved this season and he’s made five starts for Crystal Palace in the U18 Premier League, finding the back of the net in each of those matches, taking his overall tally to seven goals and two assists.

The 17-year-old’s fine form for the Eagles’ youth team has seen him end up in the sights of Borussia Dortmund.

That’s according to Bild, who state the Bundesliga side have been considering signing the talented youngster ‘for a long time’. The possibility of BVB signing Dixon in January seems unlikely, but the case could ‘get really hot’ next summer.

Dixon’s compatriots, Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, left England for BVB at a young age and established themselves in Germany.

The winger got a move to Manchester United in 2021, while the ex-Birmingham City man could be in line for a big money move next summer. This may be tempting for the Crystal Palace teenager, provided he is open to leaving English football.
